Tucson’s Historic DeGrazia Studio to Unveil New Murals
The DeGrazia Studio in Tucson will unveil two new murals on November 27, 2023. The murals, which were created by local artists, will be on display in the studio’s courtyard.
The first mural, titled “The Spirit of Tucson,” depicts the city’s history and culture. The second mural, titled “The Sonoran Desert,” celebrates the region’s natural beauty.
The DeGrazia Studio is a museum and gallery that houses the work of Ted DeGrazia, a renowned Arizona artist. The studio is open to the public Tuesday through Sunday.

The Phoenix Art Museum will host a new exhibition called “Frida Kahlo: Her Life and Art” from December 10, 2023, to March 12, 2024. The exhibition will feature more than 100 works of art by Kahlo, including paintings, drawings, and photographs.
Kahlo was a Mexican artist who was known for her self-portraits and her exploration of themes such as identity, pain, and femininity. The exhibition will provide a comprehensive look at Kahlo’s life and work.
Tempe Symphony Orchestra to Perform “The Planets” by Gustav Holst
The Tempe Symphony Orchestra will perform “The Planets” by Gustav Holst at the Tempe Center for the Arts on December 2, 2023. The concert will be conducted by Maestro Steven Zuckerman.
“The Planets” is a seven-movement suite that was composed in 1916. The movements are each named after a planet in the solar system. The music is known for its vivid imagery and its use of a variety of orchestral colors.
ASU Gammage to Host “Hamilton”
ASU Gammage will host the touring production of “Hamilton” from January 9 to 21, 2024. The musical tells the story of Alexander Hamilton, one of America’s Founding Fathers.
